After many decades, the great magic storm which has been raging is finally waning in strength. While travel outside of the archipelago remains impossible, travel between the islands is not, allowing for communication between the colonies for the first time in many years. Despite the lowered danger, It will be many weeks before any of the colonies will be able to gather resources from the surroundings and grow. There is no telling what type of damage has been done to the surrounding terrain and ecosystem by the concentrated magical energy for so long a period of time.
